Willa Elysian Pool Paliouri

We stayed here at the beginning of July as a group of 6 adults and 5 children, including an infant. Before our arrival, the agent informed us that check-in would be slightly delayed because the cleaning had not yet been completed. After a 12-hour drive, this was a little disappointing, but we appreciated being kept informed and understood that these situations can happen. Unfortunately, when we entered the villa, we still felt that the cleaning could have been more thorough. After we had a few minutes to look around the villa, the agent asked us to settle the remaining balance. We were also surprised to receive only one key. For a large group with children, this was rather inconvenient. However, after we mentioned it, we were promptly given the code for the spare key. During our stay, there were a few power outages, which temporarily affected the air conditioning and refrigerator. Fortunately, the electricity was restored quite quickly each time. We also noticed that the water pressure on the second floor dropped significantly when more than one shower was being used at the same time. In our experience, the villa felt a little cramped for 6 adults and 5 children, despite its advertised capacity. We were also told that the property was new and had recently been renovated, but it already shows some signs of wear. In addition, we felt that the photos present the villa somewhat more favorably than it appears in person. On the positive side, the views are beautiful, and the beach next to the villa is a real highlight. Although it is not heavily developed, it is peaceful, uncrowded, and the water is exceptionally clear. We very much enjoyed spending our time there.
